We came across this picture of co-founder @JAFarbs tonight while going through some shots we took near our hometown of Marin, CA, and couldn't help but think back to this day. not even a year ago, Future Collective was still just a concept brand we'd been working on - sending us to search fabric stores for the perfect wool, mine the heritage of our game (a process we began with our World Cup project @fiftytofourteen), all in hopes of taking something digital and bringing to life the moments that inspired us for others to discover and share - touch and feel. The choice of the word "collective" is far from nomenclature, extending beyond the 3 of us to include not only old friends but New ones we've met along the way - from literally all over the world. Sometimes things appear at the right time. and tonight was a nice reminder of the beauty of the undefined, and the importance to always continue to search for it.
To quote what is one of our all-time favorite Books, Dr. Seuss' Lorax, "It''s not about what it is, it's about what it can become."
